Invite users
Would you like to invite members of your team, external contributors, or your investors to Fincome? You can do so in a few clicks directly from our interface.
Invite a new user
From the owner account's interface or an administrator account, go to the “Settings” > “Users” section.
A menu listing the users who already have access to your Fincome workspace is displayed.

To add someone, click “Invite a new member”, then enter their email address, name, and role before clicking “Invite”.

The user will then receive an email inviting them to create their account before gaining access to your Fincome workspace.
Note that you can delete a user or change their role between admin and user at any time. Check out our dedicated article on managing roles and permissions to learn more.
Troubleshooting invitations
Sometimes an invitation doesn't go as planned. Here are the two most common cases and how to resolve them yourself.
An error message appears when sending the invitation
On Fincome, an email address can only be linked to a single account. If the person you're inviting already has a Fincome account (for example, an investor who already uses Fincome with another company), inviting them with that same address may return an error.
The solution: use an alias. Add your company name to the email address using the “+” sign, just before the “@”:
firstname.lastname+yourcompany@domain.com
This alias is treated as a distinct address by Fincome — which allows a second access to be created — while still delivering emails to the same inbox as the original address. The person therefore receives their invitation normally, without needing a new email address.
Note: you can't know for certain whether the person already has an account elsewhere. If you run into this error, the alias is the first thing to try in any case.
The user never receives the invitation
If no error message appears but the invitation doesn't arrive, check the following:
- Spam / junk folder: the invitation email may be filtered there automatically.
- Authorization on the IT side: ask your IT or security team whether the address in question — including an alias containing a “+” — is actually allowed to receive external emails. Some security filters block aliased addresses or unknown senders.
Important — if your IT team has just unblocked the address: if an address was first refused by your IT department and only authorized afterwards, it may have been placed on our blocklist following the initial failed sends. In that case, let us know at support@fincome.co: we'll remove it on our side so the invitation email can be sent again.
FAQ
Can I invite someone who already uses Fincome with another company?
Yes. Since an email address can only be linked to a single account, use an alias such as firstname.lastname+yourcompany@domain.com to create a separate access to your workspace.
The invitation still doesn't arrive despite the alias — what should I do?
Check the spam folder, then confirm with your IT team that the address (alias included) is authorized to receive emails. If it has just been unblocked, contact us so we can remove it from our blocklist.
