Manage roles

Fincome lets you configure roles and access for each user invited to your workspace. This allows you to define precisely who can access which chart or data table. This is particularly useful if:

  • You want to invite members of your team to view only part of the data: MRR and its growth for the Sales team, for example
  • You want certain data (salaries, cash balance) not to be accessible to all the collaborators invited to the platform
  • You want to use Fincome as a data room to give your potential investors a real-time view of your business, but you do not want to disclose your cash burn or cash runway

Roles

You can assign 2 roles to invited users:

  • Admin: the admin has access to all charts and underlying data and can also invite other users and define their role and permissions
  • Member: the member only has access to the data for which they have permission and cannot invite other users or define their role and permissions

Permissions

When you invite a new user with the "member" status, you access the permissions management interface, which lets you define the charts and data tables you want to give them access to.

Access is divided into three categories:

  • Charts: correspond to the various charts of the platform (Analytics and Revenue sections + those in reports)
  • Data tables: correspond to the tables accessible by clicking on a point of a chart, as well as the raw data tables available in the "Data" section of the interface.
  • Other: corresponds to the Goals that can be added to charts, and Segments for filtering or breaking down.

You can change a user's role and permissions at any time, as well as remove access to their account.
