Manage roles
Fincome allows you to configure roles and access for each invited user in your workspace. This lets you precisely define who can access which chart or data table. This is particularly useful if:
You want to invite members of your team to view only part of the data: the MRR and its growth for the Sales team, for example
You want certain data (salaries, cash balance) not to be accessible to all collaborators invited to the platform

Why perform a reconciliation?
This allows you to compare your internal data (sales, billing, MRR from the ERP, etc.) with Fincome data, in order to identify where differences come from. The goal is to ensure that variations are justified (for example a discount applied, a one-off invoice, a period shift...) and not the result of an integration or configuration error. By regularly reconciling your revenue and your MRR/ARR, you gain confidence in Fincome data and can explain differences to youFew readersFincome data vs billing data
Tracking MRR is essential for subscription-based businesses, particularly to assess the health of your company on a regular basis.
Calculating MRR may seem simple and can be easily accessible on platforms like Stripe or Chargebee; however, it is a metric that requires a lot of precision to be reliable and useful, which is the whole point of the Fincome solution.

What is CAC?
The Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) corresponds to the total of marketing and sales expenses incurred to acquire a new customer, divided by the number of new customers acquired over the period.
Formula used by Fincome:
CAC = (Marketing + sales expenses over the period) / (Number of new customers over the period)
By default, the calculation period is 3 rolling months, which helps smooth out monthly spending variations.
