# Connect my Stripe account

# Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure that:

* You are an administrator of your Stripe account.
* Your Stripe API key (public key and secret key) is at hand.
* Your Fincome environment allows OAuth redirects or the manual entry of API keys (HTTPS required).

# Overview of the integration

The Stripe ↔ Fincome integration automatically synchronizes the following entities from Stripe into Fincome:

* Customers
* Products & Prices
* Subscriptions
* Invoices & Invoice line items (Invoices & InvoiceLineItems)
* Credit notes (CreditNotes & CreditNoteLineItems)
* Billing events (invoice.updated webhooks, etc.)

This data is transformed in Fincome to produce key indicators such as **MRR** and its variations (new, expansions, contractions, churn), customer and financial **churn**, **subscription cohorts,** **discount analysis** (temporary and permanent), monthly **revenue recognition**, and the **multi-currency breakdown** (automatic conversion).
